“The History of Redemption” A Study of the Bible as a Whole Organic Document
What this class is not……….It is not a verse by verse exposition of the Bible. We’d never finish. We will be dealing with huge chunks of text at a time for about 30-45 minutes a class. We won’t always be able to read all that we are going to cover. Many times I will just pull snip its out to demonstrate what I mean. We are going to talk in big broad sweeping terms and touch on major themes. Mainly we are going to try and observe the Scriptures in what is called a Biblical Theological Framework, which is a fancy way of saying that we are going to observe them in the historical context in which they were written, as well as in the chronological order in which they were written. If you have ever wanted to understand the Bible as an organic whole this is the chance to study it and gain that much needed perspective.
