You make the going out of the morning and the evening to shout for joy. You visit the earth and water it; you greatly enrich it; the river of God is full of water;
you provide their grain, for so you have prepared it. You water its furrows abundantly, settling its ridges, softening it with showers, and blessing its growth.
You crown the year with your bounty; your wagon tracks overflow with abundance. The pastures of the wilderness overflow, the hills gird themselves with joy, the meadows clothe themselves with flocks, the valleys deck themselves with grain, they shout and sing together for joy.

Consider the wisdom and power of God demonstrated in how He provides for the needs whole world. God’s creation of day and night, rain showers, the natural order of seeds, growth, and fruit; dairy, meat, and poultry; It even says “your wagon tracks overflow with abundance”. Here you should think of trains, trucking, and delivery systems. In all these God is not only the creator, but He is active in providing for the needs of the world.
God is not a clockmaker and the world is not a clock. Too often we let the laws we observe scientifically shape our view of God. God is not sitting in some distant place as the creation He made unwinds like a machine. No, He is near, sustaining, and working within the world. Christ is hidden in all these things.

In all things, and in every way, God supplies all our needs. Either directly to us via the natural world, or indirectly to us through the reshaping of nature through our own work, God is our Provider.
Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways! “For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been his counselor?” “Or who has given a gift to him that he might be repaid?” For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.
